Hello everyone! My name is Jasen Crump and I'm a lifelong resident of St. Francois County in Missouri.

I was born and raised in Bonne Terre, Missouri. My parents are Clif and Debbie Crump. I attended the North County R-1 School District, graduating in 1994. Throughout my school years, I enjoyed playing basketball and baseball.

At the age of 15, I joined the Bonne Terre Auxiliary Fire Department. At age 18, I became a volunteer firefighter. In 1996, I attended the Emergency Medical Technician Program at Mineral Area College and became a licensed EMT.

Shortly after graduating High school, I went to work at St. Francois County Joint Communication Center as a 911 Dispatcher. While still working as a dispatcher in 1997, I attended and graduated the Mineral Area Police Academy.

Immediately after graduating the academy, I went to work for the St. Francois County Sheriff's Department as a deputy in the detention center. In mid 1998, I went to work full time for the Bonne Terre Police Department. While at Bonne Terre, I worked as a patrolman and
then as a detective. I worked and solved hundreds of cases while employed at Bonne Terre; including murder cases, bank robberies, cases against children, and numerous other cases.

In 2002, I had an opportunity to go to work in the private sector. After 2 years as a supervisor, I spent the next 5 years in a managerial role.

In 2009, I had the pleasure of accepting a job back in law enforcement as the Assistant Chief of Police for the Ste Genevieve Police Department. In 2022, I was promoted to Chief of Police, and currently hold that position.
